Arlington Village Townhouse Condominium is a great place to live. Here are some of the reasons why:
Location The Village is located within close driving distance of DC. The nearest Metro stations, Pentagon and Pentagon City, are three miles away and are served by convenient bus service. The areas main thoroughfare, Columbia Pike, is within easy walking distance. The mix of nearby destinations is becoming much livelier with the arrival of new development. Surrounded by the Army-Navy Country Club, the parkland of Walter Reed Community Center, The Commons of Arlington Condominium, and the single family homes of New Arlington, the Village offers a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Pike.
Greenery The rolling terrain of the Village covers 42 acres and includes its own parkland complete with a stream. This parkland is affectionately known as the ravine to residents. It has been designated by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat area. Front and rear courtyards also showcase beautiful green space. Originally landscaped as a planned community, the property is dotted with many mature trees and other plantings. The anchor greenery is interspersed with gardens planted by residents.

Construction The Village was built of solid brick in the late 1930s and early 40s. The traditional style buildings sport interesting exterior details, such as slate roofs, cement medallions, copper trim, and various woodwork trim. The Village is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Decks Each townhouse has a deck to encourage a community feel and afford residents a special way to enjoy the outdoors. Many residents decorate the space with flowers and plants.
Pool Facilities include an Olympic-sized pool, a baby pool, and a pool house with restrooms and showers. A lifeguard is always on duty. Pool parties add spice to some summer evenings.

Tennis Courts Two tennis courts are available for resident use.
Parking Street parking and a number of off-street lot spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Residents can invite guests without the need for parking passes.
Storage Bin Each unit is assigned a storage bin. The bins are located in basements around the Village.
Laundry Ten laundry rooms are scattered in basements around the Village. The rooms are cleaned daily and have coin-operated machines. Four over-sized washers are available for cleaning of larger items. In addition to the communal facilities, many homes have installed their own laundry machines.
Trash Enclosures Each courtyard has trash and recycling facilities enclosed in a wooden structure for easy accessibility. Special landscaping beautifies many of these structures, and an informational box posts important notices and reminders. On-site staff collect the trash three times a week, so the neighborhood remains quiet and clean.
On-Site Property Management Administrative and facilities staff manage day-to-day operations including responding to resident requests and grounds maintenance. Next to the office is the Community Room, where community gatherings, parties, and Board and committee meetings are held.
